One Friday night in Perth

Went to the city with a group of fellow photographers one Friday night. There was a traditional performance by a group of Aboriginal dancers in Yagan Square (see if you can recognise a kangaroo, an emu and a black swan in the dance).

Then we had a meal outside in the marketplace - that is until it started raining. Luckily, the rain passed and we went to see the Light Show near the new WA Museum.

Another Gold and a Second

Pretty happy!

My print "Quiet in the Fog" got Second individual place in Woolorama Interclub Competition, which we entered as a club (came third).

And also I got a Gold last night in the club competition for my "Winter in the Mall" (Open printed section).

Old Railway Workshops at Midland

It was an outing organised by NEPG camera club back in January. Lots of rust, dust, old machinery and eerie light.

Apparently work had stopped and the workshops abandoned on a very short notice and time has just stopped there.

Here is a selection of my photos from that day
